Just an amazing documentary! I feel bad for all of them. They were all brainwashed. I would have not fallen for this cult. 7-8 people in a cultured one bedroom, uh no way.

I would submit that because they got out, their lives are not ruined. Life is long. They are still young.

Maybe ruined is not the right word, but they lost a decade and are facing serious challenges they wouldn't otherwise be facing. Santos didn't graduate and was living in shelters. Felicia didn't finish her residency and is still not practicing medicine (and may never be able to). Isabella has plead guilty to criminal charges. Not to mention all the psychological trauma.

They're Larry's videotapes. The victims videotaped at his bidding. Most of them came out in court.

This Vanity Fair interview with the director goes into how the director got the audio and video tapes (before he was indicted Larry emailed some to him!) Larry thought the videotapes showed his innocence when they show the opposite.

Her LinkedIn showed her working as a paralegal in South Carolina about a year ago.

WOW. I just finished the series. Unbelievable, and very well done. I'd read the article a while back but never fully understand what happened.

Felicia's story was heartbreaking & then uplifting.

I just finished the last episode. There is a brief point where they say that after 5 years, Larry was finally evicted from the apt.

There is one branch of my husband's family that believes that all its descendents should attend this school. I've always found that bizarre!
