The legislation won't change someones actions.
Getting kids jobs, more engaged in education, food on the table etc, will.

Currently, we’re not even close. He has the leverage now to get commitments from the mayor, yet he’s never mentioned it once. Again, he’s not an at large member, he’s the Ward 3 member. I hope he starts acting like it on issues like crime and schools.

It’s hard to understand what’s happening to Matt. It’s like a later in life crisis. His language is peppered with all the progressive buzzwords that 20 year olds use. He didn’t use to speak like that. He’s been around the block enough to know the criminal code rewrite is a disaster and yet he joined the rest of the council in soiling themselves on the national stage. His push for affordable housing at all costs is noble, but will further exasperate overcrowded Ward 3 schools, yet he offers no solutions. If he won an at-large seat I could see getting behind a pro-criminal, anti-Ward 3 school platform, but that’s not the job he ran for. And now he bogarts a nobody ANC reps campaign sign.

Haven't seen an iota or leadership or independence. He did a community forum at the Cleveland Park library just recently---there's a recording on YouTube---and he pretty much didn't give a straight answer to any question.
For someone of his age he’s remarkably immature.

I am sure it was his graphic designer's mistake because there is no way Matt would knowingly copy Beau.
