I don’t mind it but maybe because I learned the term looking at home decor stuff and it just seemed like a useful term. You’re talking about colors, not a color, and you don’t want to list all the colors. So you get “blue colorway” or whatever. It’s doing a job and I don’t think there’s another term.

Verbing a noun? That didn’t bother me until now…

Nouning a verb annoys me, as in “that’s a big ask” - why not use the word “request” if you need a noun? “Ask” should remain a verb
