He will sign it.

He just had his buddy Carper introduce a statehood law in the DC which looks like a consolation for what he’s about to do.

I don’t think it’s so much a belief in the right to be unhoused (although I certainly know people who think that way). I think it’s more just a practical issue/. There are more mentally ill homeless because the fetanyl and meth that is available now makes you mentally ill (and maybe even the strong strains of weed. For some people). They clear them from one area and they just move to another. They cleared Franklin park and they all moved to McPherson. I think McPherson is scheduled to be cleared next month so they will all just move again, maybe to Farragut which is currently clear or maybe back to Franklin. It’s whack a mole with the encampments.

It's not fantasy, it's reality. Crime is not punished in DC. To be real, it's barely frowned upon by the Mayor and Council.

The arrested the guy but that’s only because MPD were motivated because it was a member of Congress.

However, because it’s DC he’s only been charged with “simple assault”. There will be no serious punishment.
