I don't know. Maybe it takes a few days to orchestrate a mass mailing.
Why should even be MCPS is responsibility? It's a state test. They should do their own dirty work.
Why not make in the federal government's responsibility since it's a No Child Left Behid Act requirement?
I don't know why it's MCPS's reponsibility, but it is.
The feds should do something about this test. It's so bad that it's value is meaningless. They should force the state to use one that is at least reliable.

My kid who qualified for AIME apparently failed the MCAP algebra test. I don't think it's a very good test.
Sounds about right. They really need to invest in national tests instead of making up bad ones like this.
Everyone knows this is just a bad test that doesn't measure anything. So why even bother waste money on it. Who cares?

According to the document below from MSDE, districts received digital individualized MCAP reports for each student in January. Why hasn't MCPS uploaded these to ParentVue? Last year, we never even got a digital version, just a hard copy mailed home--unlike Howard County, which provides both digital and hard copies to families.

Holding back the scores for nearly a year isn’t going to change the results or help change the curriculum in an expedient manner or even change the test (which I personally think is a poorly constructed exam and is probably the actual issue in the first place).
