I enjoyed the statistics in the slides where they compare their drafts to all the neighboring counties‘ schedules… How is such a statistic even possible? Well, all other counties released their plan weeks ago!![]()

No one wants this school board to create a 3 year calendar.
No one really wants them to create next year's calendar, but we are stuck with them through November.
What they need to do is give us something now to get us through the 23/24 year, then stop. Just stop.
Don't ruin another calendar year. Leave it for the next school board. Hopefully, it will contain a lot of new members and have a tiny shred of competency.
+1 truth. They are going to be voted out but we will be stuck with their horrific calendar. Hell no.
This. I’m so pissed that this terrible school board is trying to leave a three year crap calendar on their way out. They know we’re down with them and are trying to pass this crap in haste
I agree that this smacks of desperation on the part of the School Board, but is there any reason why a future School Board couldn't just change it later?
The current board can pass a 3 year calendar if they want, but the next School Board might actually have some common sense and return to sanity.

Wrong. The extra time is specifically so the two board members who do NOT want a two week break can try to alter the survey feedback to make it go their way. This is why they keep harassing people with emails advertising that they've extended the survey deadline.
Is this the two week winter break? I don’t want it either.
An overwhelming majority do want the two week winter break, according to the most recent survey.
This poster wants that 2-week break and will cut anyone who dares to take it away! 😜
What are you talking about, tongue emoji? Here are the survey results. The purple and blue have the two week winter break. Orange and green have the shorter winter break. People clearly like the two week winter break, and dlslike the shorter winter break.
