Yes, it's a much stronger cohort than in years past because the improved competition and elimination of test buying.

They lowered the bar and made tests easy so everyone wants to try (admission seems to be hit or miss). Naturally, number of applicants will increase. You find comments on this board where parents are just asking to apply. Evaluting these many apllication will be nightmare. Hope FCPS publish statistics on it rather than beating the drum of how more schools are sending students!
Essay seems to be just too easy, It is reallky confusing how they are going to decide based on it which student should get in!!
