This list is super helpful! Can we cross-ref with places that are confirmed to be in good shape following the last few hurricanes?

Does this depend on the time of the year? When we looked for winter break, United definitely did not have direct flights from the DC area to Aruba.

No, but it may not be 7 days a week year round. Saturday and Sunday at least.

We fly nonstop Dulles to Aruba and back just about every year between Christmas and over NY's.

Just checked. 4 days per week.

IAD - STT then take the ferry to Tortola or Virgin Gorda, or charter a boat for the week in the BVI.

BWI has several nonstop Southwest flights if you are not too far-Cancun, Montego Bay, Aruba, and a few others.

Yes it's a winter flight only, and runs 4x week, looks like Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from looking at Google Flights. So if you didn't search for those days of the week, the flight wouldn't have come up.

+1, it seems counterintuitive but this has been my favorite Caribbean vacation. Easy flight and very easy island to navigate. If you want to go gamble or dine at one of the big resorts, you still can, but I preferred staying in a house with beach access.
