Op, ignore the haters. My husband is very capable except when it comes to food! He just isn’t into food. I stopped asking him for dinner ideas years ago because it was always some 1970 meal his mom made. He does all the laundry and cleans up after I cook and we split grocery shopping so I think we’re even.

If money isn’t an option get the BEST prepared meals like might meals and call it a day.

I have no idea what my federal bureaucrat husband eats for lunch when he goes to the office, nor do I care. Maybe if he were a surgeon . . . .

Who are these 1950s wives? And why does it matter that he's a doctor?

Good god, they are grownups, mommy!

I’m a dentist who needs quick lunches (own my own practice). I eat Jimmy John’s like 3 days a week ha. I figure it could be worse.

Now take those and make them healthy. Again no worries about cost.

Thanks.

1. Peanut Butter and Jelly
2. Peanut Butter and Banana
3. Nutella and Banana
4. Ham and Cheese
5. Turkey and Brie

Oh, I see you said it's for a MAN and HEALTHY so my suggestions won't work.

This is your answer!

This 100%. We just switched from territory and I’m really digging it. The problem my wife was having is that territory has very few that are above
700 calories and that wasn’t doing it when I was in training mode. Also they come in a bag and not a box. The territory boxes got annoying AF recently. You get $100 off your first four orders. Food is legit. I eat them mostly for lunch but sometimes we eat them for dinner.

Another option is Vegetable and Butcher. I get the vegan meals but they have add on non-vegan proteins that pair with each one. DH should go online and look at the menu options and see if something appeals. You can choose among each week's offerings. The food is healthy and yummy and varied.

Bento boxes like the kids take--vegetables, hummus, cheese, crackers, fruit, etc. It might not be the most satisfying or amazing lunch but it will do the job a couple of days/week. Or, PB&J with a bag of apple slices.

Easy proteins:

-Pork tenderloin. Roast in oven, should last a few days as the protein with a bagged salad/grain.
-Premade meatballs, bake in oven, eat as meatball sandwich. Assemble at work so it doesn’t get soggy and I suppose he can microwave the meatballs
-pulled pork/chicken—prepare in instant pot and coat in bbq sauce or mayo, easy sandwiches or salad topping

Buy those disposable plastic tubs for lunch—pack and toss
