Because it is a typical DCUM question. I want to do something that logically I know won’t work. How do I make it work?

You can reheat/re-crisp the waffles on the hot waffle iron for 15-20 seconds. I do this at home all the time, as the chef is usually the last to eat.

Try a yeasted waffle recipe. They stay much crispier for longer than a standard buttermilk/baking power type of recipe.

Oops, saw that there was no stove. If you have access to an outlet, you could bring one of those single burner stove things and use a pan:
