What DC privates send swag?

Potomac for one.

But not until the day of acceptances.

Everything happens the day of.
I've been through this 3 times. You have to wait until March 3.

Of course, we found out the old fashioned way....Ravenna at like 3:30pm.

+1. This is excellent advice.

Do schools still send snail mail for accept/deny/waitlist (not swag, just a letter)? I was under the impression it's just ravenna/email now.

I think it is both Ravenna and a mailing but instead of snail mail its an email now(environment)

Do you mean an invite to apply? Like a mass mailing?

For our older child we did not receive any communication during this period but she still got in to her top choices!

I can't believe I am a grown-ass woman, getting so impatient about receiving these emails and worried about the results. I keep telling myself it will be absolutely fine no matter what, but I am still a little freaked out. My 8th grader is totally chill about it. She is the smart one!

While I can’t speak to that particular post, I will say that we applied to 5 schools last year for K and were accepted to all of them. We didn’t get any communication outside of what they did for everyone.

So try not to freak out.

We received an acceptance letter - old school - but the day after the notification.
