Egg salad and potato chips on side? No. Fried egg sandwich with potato chips? Blech. Frittata, quiche, deviled eggs, a chef salad with hard boiled sliced eggs arranged artfully atop the lettuce—NONE of these foods should ever even brush past a potato chip on the same plate.
