This is my question too. Weren't there funds allocated to schools for this? I could be wrong.

Regardless, it is ridiculous for this issue to go on into Day 2 and possibly Day 3. What major malfunction happened?

They spent most of the additional Covid money on that hot mess of a Virtual Learning Program.

Parents could pick them up today. I am leaving them at the school. I will never subject my kids to virtual nonsense again.

So you would rather they get NO instruction? interesting.

Yes. Virtual instruction for a 6 yo is worse than no instruction.

Since I experienced Kindergarten in the 2020-2021 school year, I totally agree. Screw that nonsense.

Kids get too much screentime as it is in school, please send home some worksheets !

I don't see that anywhere in the forecast.

Wintry mix for morning rush hour. Maybe not Arlington, but likely FFX where many teachers live.

While a benefit of Covid was moving some things -- like PTA -- virtual, I think one of the greatest harms was this idea that schools can pivot to online days and still get credit for their 180. It's not school. Stop saying it is.

NP and I agree. If things are Virtual my like will log in for roll call in the morning, then spend the rest of the day offline. Virtual is a joke for elementary. I saw what passed as instruction during the pandemic...no thanks. Kids are better off reading or going to a museum.

The principal sent an email saying that those who didn't have their iPads at home could pick them up from the school this morning.
