STA alum Al Gore was VP. But that was 35 years ago.

100% agree. He’s a superstar plain and simple, the more minds like his that we have in public sector the better. All too often the sharpest minds stick to private sector. But he’s already got the $$$, a PP said he was in Fortune’s richest 40 people under 40. He has hundreds of millions in the bank so hopefully he’s not another revolving door politician. I don’t know how active he’s stayed with STA though (on the other he seems to stay very involved with Duke).

Whoops, meant to quote this. But yea Zients was middle class and was known as an incredibly hard worker, hardly privileged.

That’s great. Congrats to him. Btw there still are not many Jewish kids at STA btw. Only 1 boy who is being raised as Jewish in my son’s class.
