My kid tutored high school kids in math for NHS his sophomore and junior years. He won an award for this tutoring at his school's annual NHS induction/graduation stole ceremony, and added this award to his brag sheet/awards list.

I have never heard any AO mention NHS and I've sat through a lot of those information sessions.

Great if your kid is in it, but I don't think you can expect any impact on admissions.

I'm looking at the website and the activities look so vague.

+1. DS didn't even list it as an activity. Had many more meaningful ones
