Definitely used by others, but by the time he realized it, couldn’t break the pattern. There’s always some personal accountability, but, how do you get out of it when you’re so deep in?
Priscilla 15 years old and and awe struck and in love, but realized more as she got older, things were not normal and she either had to keep living that way or escape. By revealing certain things, was she playing the victim, truthfully trying to explain the real circumstances and personal growth, or making a profit? Possibly a combination. She also had to know that whatever she did, her life was going to be defined by her relationship with Elvis.
Lisa Marie was born and brought up in those dynamics. She seemed to have a strong sense at times of knowing she needed to change certain things, but how do you erase those patterns of a completely abnormal life where everything you did was viewed thru Elvis and Priscilla?
I wish her well. And also am incredibly sad for her.
Also, the power of genetics.
