That may be a school rule, not a countywide policy. In fact, the grading and reporting regulation says "A student may retake a high school credit-bearing course, no matter the final grade."

I am not sure if this is true for the later cohorts. I think the class is on the transcript but not the grades.


The MS classes and their grades are still listed on the transcript, but if the MS grade would lower the GPA, it is excluded from the calculation.
