Yup - Yellowstone is the US version of a safari. Really incredible place.

Jasper/Banff region. Costa Rica. Depends on animals you want to see. There's animal sanctuaries around the country you can combine with doing other stuff. Around San Diego is good for that. NM and CO too. Jackson Hole is good.

This is an animal park so not quite the same as seeing them in the wild, but these wolf cabins look amazing. They’re in Parc Omega in Canada.

It was just a day trip but we had a fascinating time viewing wildlife at the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge when we were in the area.

+2 for Custer. Custer is pretty fantastic for seeing wildlife. Black Hills and Badlands are close by too and have lots of wildlife and none of the crazy traffic you get at some other parks.
