My DD, a straight A student and aactual Black person not raised by leftist Whites, says they made her feel unsafe.

The SRO at Walter Johnson HS had a student share with them sm postings of a former student with an AK rifle saying he was going to shoot up the school. They got to yhe former student before anything did go wrong.

That is NOT anecdotal, it is a fact. I will always be grateful for the SROs.

What we do know:

SROs are a deterant, and all the kids in MCPS know the SROs were defunded/removed from schools.

This kid felt so free to run wild that he invited his friends to watch and live-stream him shooting another human being, knowing the SROs had been banned from the building by MCPS.

If you live in MoCo, demand a return to sanity, and the restoration of school resource officers immediatly.

If your county politicians are outside of MoCo, and are considering eliminating school resource officers, demand they abandon such foolish ideas.
