Agree that Pinot Grigio is awful, but you can’t really complain as a guest. A lot of people don’t like Chardonnay. I actually think Sauv Blanc is the safest bet for a white, though also not favorite.

Nothing, it is personal preference. I like sauv blanc, then pinot grigio. I’d move to beer before having chardonnay or reisling.

Nothing. It’s the most versatile white

Subject: Hosting a party, and drinks
I'm always thankful when there's something interesting to drink that's non alcoholic for designated drivers and others who might be abstaining. In winter cider is great, warm or cold. Sparkling cider is fun and festive and nice as a champagne alternative for toasts. In summer it might be lemonade or iced tea. Fruit sugar like izze are good. Few people I know still drink Coke.

I feel I could improve on what drinks I have for guests.
I could give an example list but it would be bad. That’s why I am here.
Assume some people will write a version of this?
1. Wine that pairs well with food
2. Bottled water, or in a carafe with lemons
3. One pack of mini soda like coke or ginger ale
4. Zero sugar drink like spindrift or Coke Zero
5. Nicer beer
6. Cheap beer
1. 1 Red, 1 White, 1 sparking on hand
2. No bottled water; have sparkling water (plain or those the flavored kind in a can)
3/4 Many adults don't drink sodas - skip this
5/6. Have 2 types of beer
