I loved it! And, it reminded me of something my Grandpa told my Dad 40 years after leaving Ireland: “Nothing ever changed. Everyday was the same.”

What I didn't like is there was fundamentally a good story line here but the gratuitous, and implausible, gore really tanked it for me.

Why do all movies today seem to have some sort of bloody gore or violence as a requirement?
