This makes sense but I only use eye cream at night because mine has retinol in it. What eye cream do you use?

I mix Nars radiant concealer with Aveeno sensitive oat facial moisturizer and then apply sparingly with a brush. It’s stopped the creasing and I don’t use powder. Took a lot of trial and error of brands!

I am resurrecting this thread because I had the same concerns as OP. I’ve been using Chanteceille concealer and it always starts well blended and then settles into the creases. After reading this thread, I plan to try Tarte or Armani.

But doesn’t powder amplify wrinkles/creases on the skin? I’ve gradually changed over most of my makeup to creams because the powders (blush, for example) seem to visibly sit right in my face creases.

OP here. I got a tiny Tarte Shape Tape at Ulta on a whim right after I started this thread. I didn’t change my routine otherwise- and yes, I was already using Laura Mercier powder to set- and I got no creases! I think creamy concealers and chubby pencils may have been too dry/thick for my skin.

Matching my skin tone was annoying and I’m wouldn’t want to try the shade with a flash photo until I’ve been in better light than morning on the darkest days of the year, but so far I 100% recommend Shape Tape. What a weird name, though!

Yes, this is what you need to do. Any translucent powder. I liked the Loreal brand best of those I have tried. Using ELF now, it is OK.

Did it cause peeling and dry skin at any point?
