WFH, he started daycare at 18 months. Have noticed lack of expressive and receptive language issues from the beginning but pediatrician wasn’t that concerned at that time. Just at 18 months asked to get early intervention just to be ‘safe’. But I can tell he has no words, no pointing and no waving, leading by hand etc. I am worried and don’t understand why pediatrician chose to ignore all these signs ?

Neither. Early intervention assigned an educator to us and speech therapy
