+1 There's a huge crossover. Just look at the tags from some of your favorite reviewers on Goodreads.
It crosses over the other way - sci fi readers usually enjoy fantasy, but fantasy readers avoid sci fi. It's something I've discussed extensively with my agent while debating putting a fantasy manuscript on sub.
