He does take several quick showers a day. He showers after cooking and cleaning up (depends on what he cooks and how long), coming from work, going to work, before doing the deed and after. His fairly clean diet might helps with body odor. He sweats but it doesn't smell like the manly man.
Breath is always fresh and if not the freshest, he won't attempt to get close until he can brush his teeth. Very self aware I would say.
He is in good shape without hitting the gym. He keeps hair short so he can wash it often and his nails are nicely shaped and clean.
Sorry but he sounds neurotic.
Seriously, this would turn me off! I like a little masculine musk.
That’s biology. There’s pheromones in skin secretions. Men and women both give them off, and we’re hardwired to respond to them on a subconscious level. We don’t even realize it’s happening most of the time.
I’m not a neat-freak by any stretch. I’d call my hygiene completely ordinary for a typical American female. I shower either in the morning, or again after a workout. But that’s it.
But I definitely noticed that men at work seem to spend more time around me in casual conversation when I’m ovulating. It’s pheromones. They don’t even realize they’re doing it.
Biology is fascinating.
You probably don’t realize it either that you’re giving off a more approachable vibe.

Hair always shiny + clean, breath always fresh, no body odor EVER (!) and always looking put together + well polished.
You can be impeccably hygienic with hair that’s not shiny and not look put together and polished. These are distinct qualities.
DP. Yes I strongly suspect whoever said this term doesn’t even realize they mean a bunch of cosmetic stuff like hair products, makeup, etc. Men don’t even realize when they’re looking at makeup and hair extensions.
Anonymous wrote:In another thread someone said they’d like a woman with impeccable hygiene. What does that look like outside the obvious- daily showers, nails, hair? Also, what does that mean for a man?
Anonymous wrote:Hygiene no matter who you are means:
1) oral hygiene is on point. You brush 2-3 times a day, you floss every day, you go to the dentist regularly, and you also fix whatever is "wrong" with your teeth and gums
2) you shower daily, and use deodorant.
3) you wash your hair when it starts to smell of oily scalp
4) you keep your nails short, and you clean under your nails
5) you wipe properly when you use the toilet. and you wash your hands. If you keep your pubic hair in it's natural state then you need to make sure you really clean yourself properly - get a bidet.
6) for god's sake cut your nasty toenails. men we don't to see your thick, yellow nails. get a pedicure.
7) don't rewear gym clothes between washing

Seriously. Laying around post-coitus is part of the enjoyment.
