Seems like Alderton's claim that her kids go to Catholic school for "religious reasons" may not be true in light of who some of her biggest donors and supporters are.

That's rather suspect that the school board chair who sends her own kids to Catholic school is funded by an anti Catholic PAC Brass Ovaries PAC. The head of the PAC was removed from several positions due to her anti Catholic comments. Why would this person support the chair? The chair mentioned in an Alexandria Now article last year that she sends her kids to private for religious reasons but is she even Catholic? We attend the same parish and I've never seen her at mass and we go to different masses, me and DH and teen kids.

Why is Dr H getting so much endorsements and speaking engagements when ACHS is unaccredited? That is the real equity issue

Someone mentioned Alderton and Greene went on a speaking tour with Hutchings to promote his book. Like as SB members? I'm all for equity and DEI but those three do not promote or create an equitable educational environment nor do they help anyone buy themselves. Greene is very nice, but what has she done for ACPS? How does she have unilateral support?

This man abandons our district on the last day of school and authors a book on taxpayer dime. Who is promoting his career and "expertise"? Our ACPS board chair! Unbelievable!
