Seems like you’re far more likely to get shot by an FBI agent on metro than by anyone else. Criminals included.
I have no complaints about criminals getting shot.
Police officers are not courts of law. They don’t get to apply the death penalty just because they got into an altercation with someone else. Actually, no one should be able to do that.
Police officers are allowed to defend themselves when violently assaulted. Actually, everyone should be allowed to do that.
+1, you want to f$ck around with someone on Metro thinking you’re so hard with your knife and gun, well when that person happens to be an FBI agent that takes you out, I feel no sympathy for you. That FBI agent should get some kind of commendation. People should be able to use public transportation free from fear that some a-hole is going to jump them.
Most FBI agents are accountants or lawyers. They’re pencil pushers with asses shaped just like their office chairs. They just happen to carry a handgun. Big deal, so does my 79 year old mother. Bottom line, they’re bureaucrats, not SPEC-OPS.
You're confusing FBI employees such as accountants and lawyers with FBI agents. Only a subset of FBI employees are agents. Most employees who are not agents are not issued guns and do not carry them. Most agents, however do. FBI HRTs basically are in fact SPECOPS, though with a somewhat different skillset than just going in, blowing everything up and killing everyone as SPECOPS do, but the average FBI agent is not trained to the level of SPECOPS but certainly have more training than the average schmoe on a subway platform, along with many of them also having prior military and LEO experience. And quite likely more training and less of a swivelchair shaped ass than the PP.

Police are taught to reflexively respond that they resorted to deadly force because they feared for their lives. It would be a joke but for the fact that the government sanctions murder in this way.
+1
They’re allowed to kill you because *they were afraid of you*.
Think about that for a few minutes.
What would happen to an ordinary person who tried to use that as an excuse? Not someone who was actually assault and was defending themselves, not someone finding an intruder in their home. Not someone being carjacked….. just someone who saw someone and was in fear of them.
WTAF.

Why is that weird? FBI HQ is in downtown DC.

I just look at numbers. And FBI agents have accounted for 50% of shootings on metro this year. Given how few FBI agents there are, that’s a pretty disproportionate figure.
