I haven't used the revlon dryer recently but when I was using it I would start with a regular blow dryer to get my hair 75% dry and then use the Revlon for the last 25%. It was faster and still got the benefit of the revlon without as much direct heat.

I was recently looking to replace my Revlon dyer brush and was debating between Drybar and L'Ange. I ended up getting L'Ange and am very happy with it; the titanium coating helps my hair get much smoother. It's definitely better than my old Revlon, which I happily used for years.

Both of them are going to fry your hair because it's such close contact. I thought the Revlon was great, but it destroyed my hair so I went back to a normal hair dryer and round brush.

I think it was me who recommended that! I was introduced to it last year by a new stylist; they didn't even sell it at her salon, but she kept it stocked at her station and told all her clients to buy it It is amazing.

Neither, get the Shark flex style! The best purchase I’ve made for my hair ever. I handed my Revlon down and sold my dyson.

I use the Revlon on my fine hair when it’s just towel dried and it works great. I think the key for me is to really keep it moving. Like a flat iron, not like a curling iron.

Or other recommendations? I

Revlon is great considering it's affordability but regular use of tension requiring gadgets stress out hair and front hairline sees negative effects.

Drybar is much better for fine hair. Not as hot.

Thanks all, this is helpful. I didn’t know there was a new Revlon out with heat control. I will try that. I do let my air dry for a long time before using the dryer, and I use a good heat protector, but I have very curly fine hair that is color treated, so it breaks. I suppose that’s the price I pay.
