Chopppin broc-coliiiii. C'mon man nobody gets this reference?
One activity I found surprisingly satisfying this past winter was shelling nuts. Back in the day my parents always had nuts in the shell hanging around, along with crackers and picks. I never got it. During Covid I had a ton of pecans to shell from my parent's tree. I put on satellite radio, got a class of wine and shelled away. It was surprisingly calming. I made an awesome pie this Thanksgiving.

And I have also been spreading native wildflower seeds at the sides of the trails since the pandemic, and it is wonderful to see some of the patches bloom and look very colorful. It just makes me very, very happy.

Also: carpooling.
+1 for carpooling. The overheard conversations are so entertaining.

Me - leaf cleanup (using combination rake and handheld blower). It's so satisfying to pile the leaves up!
