Wouldn't this be more of a function of where you are visiting? For example, a country like the PRC has restrictive internets so may cause issues.

Anonymous wrote:Don't say it's a family trip: say it's for a religious event. For a family trip they don't have to allow your child to make up he missed work and can give your child zeros for all missed assignments. For a religious reason, they have to allow students to make up the work.
No, you don't have to explain or articulate the reason. Just a note to the counselor and all teachers that Larlo will miss classes Dec xx - Jan xx due to religious reasons.
