People actually eat that at a party?

My DH always goes all out for these events: buche de noel with miniature marzipan decorations, tiramisu trifle, etc. There is never anything to take home and people really enjoy the effort he makes. I would make the deviled eggs myself...

+1 and assuming there’s alcohol at this party it’s nice to have something with some substance (I’m a lightweight).

The cannoli kit from Costco is perfect for this sort of thing. I like to put it out unfilled so people can fill them themselves. I add a few bowls of things like mini chocolate chips, sprinkles, mini m&ms, etc. for people to add. Pretty effortless and always a hit.

I love deviled eggs. Love them. However, my spouse finds them repulsive and every time we are out to dinner with others and I suggest ordering deviled eggs as an app, it is usually shot down. I think they are very polarizing so I would not bring to a potluck. But then again nothing will be a home run with all!

Nothing too fussy. People often are standing with a glass in one hand and trying to manage a plate and a little cup on it and a utensil is a lot.

I hate deviled eggs, but we often make them because they are always finished and they are easy to eat. The hardest part is transporting them.

+1 was coming here to post this. I make the Barefoot Contessa recipe with grainy mustard and dill and there are never any left.

Strange but true. People love them. Also anything with smoked salmon (but it depends on the crowd).
