What? They are not getting rid of the safety inspection. And why would you want that?!?
Most states don’t have a yearly safety inspection, or any safety inspection at all for that matter. I grew up in Ohio and people were driving all sorts of crappy cars in far worse weather but it’s up to people to keep their cars running, not the government. It’s an annoying pain to have to pull up to a random service station and hope the line isn’t 2 hours long and that they’re actually doing inspections that day at all.

LOL.
What was his actual plan to replace that state revenue? Or was it just another campaign ploy to con the rubes.

Three guesses.
The main problem Virginia has is the one term limit. Youngkin just had to get elected. He never had to actually deliver on his false promises.

Given that precedent, the Democrats in the General Assembly likely won't give you a break on your groceries, either.
Go talk to the Democrats in the Virginia General Assembly. They are the ones who won't give you a break.
Why are you equating the gas tax with the grocery tax?

That’s like saying “why hasn’t Biden paid off my student loans yet?”
Youngkin has to work with the GA
