Compliment man - I loved him. Also loved the 15 minute club too. Did we hang out? Though late night for us was giant slice pizzas in Adams Morgan. Occasionally we would go wild and go to Au Pied du Cochon. I would add the first Adams Morgan day after the riots...again...which ones. That one was such a party. Not going past 16th Street in Dupont at night & by yourself. When Vegas Lounge was the lone outpost on P Street.
I miss the Secret Safeway - that staff was awesome. They would stock things that I liked and would open the doors after they were closed to let me emergency shop.

+1. And most of the more established DCUMers reading this are in Va so frequently go over one of the two or three bridges. A non issue. Now it IS a weird issues for Marylanders, but they are not Washingtonians.
So you live in Virginia? And therefore are not a Washingtonian? I hate crossing the bridges because traffic sucks and I hate driving (which is why I live in DC, not Virginia.

Nah, lots of us are like this. We’ve been around long enough to remember when getting ice cream from the UMD dairy was an exciting excursion, and we saw tobacco farms along the way.

Also, if you've lived here longer (depending on which part of the city you've lived in), you left the city for a decent grocery store.
