My nespresso has been in daily use for 5-6 years. I use the bestpresso pods from Amazon that come out to 33 cents a pop.

Right. But they're both packaged, pre-ground coffee.

Keurig is drip coffee through a plastic pod.
Nespresso is espresso through a recyclable aluminum pod.

I think it depends on how much coffee you drink. I think Keurigs make crap coffee and always thought of Nespresso as just a higher end version because they're both pre-ground, packaged coffee. I've been surprised by how much I do like the espresso from Nespresso and the convenience can't be beat, but I drink a lot of coffee and the cost would be ridiculous for me.
