I agree and there were too many similarities with The Menu (skewering the ultra wealthy/ set on a luxury island/ the finale)
The first show felt more authentic .. but sequels are often way worse …

It is definitely worth a watch. It's genuinely fun, witty, and heartfelt. I was giddy watching it once it hit its stride.

Definitely wasn't into it for the first 30 mins or so, but it got so much better!

We watched it last night. 20’s to 60’s. All loved it. Entertaining and clever.

We watched it last night. Big hit in my family. My 14-year old really loves mysteries.

I thought it went along very quickly despite being 2.5 hours long.

After watching it I read a (positive) review that pointed out something I hadn't really realized -- in the first movie, the real main character is Ana de Armas's character, and in this one, the real main character is [one I'm not going to name, as that would be a spoiler, but you know who I mean, PP]. Craig's character is key but actually secondary to those characters. I thought that was a good observation. I love Benoit Blanc and agree with you, he's entertaining -- and wisely, not overused! My young adult DC said it looked in both movies like Craig was having a blast, which shows.

You missed the entire actual story (what you're seeing in that first half hour isn't what you think you're seeing). There's a point where the movie seems to slow and then...bam, you get a flashback that takes everything in a new direction and the pace picks up quickly. I'd rewatch if I were you. We saw it last night and just at the moment I was thinking, oh, are we....nearing the end? That can't be all?, that was when it made the turn. Loved it.

I enjoyed it and we laughed at all the blatant product placement

I loved the first one but also had a hard time getting into Glass Onion.

Disturbingly relevant, ha, but such a fun movie. I thought Craig’s character was funnier in the first movie but this was no less entertaining.
