Tauxemont - absolutely amazing school.

OP here. I’d say I’m moderately granola (think natural cleaning supplies, “clean” beauty products, organic food, gentle parenting, etc.), and decidedly not the anti vaxxer set. I don’t consider those types to be crunchy - only nutty!

Silver Spring Day School might be close enough and it seemed quite crunchy when we did the open house.

Acorn Hill! It’s an incredible school. I’ve also had experience with Silver Spring Day School and found it a little crunchy (organic milk… focus of social/emotional development…). Both wonderful preschools.

Also worth checking out Takoma Childrens School, Takoma Montessori, and Silver Spring Nursery School.

I visited Takoma montessori and it seemed...like not a real montessori? And the teacher:child ratios were off.

We like Waterfront Academy for our children. It is Spanish immersion Montessori in the Catholic tradition. https://www.waterfrontacademy.org

DeColores is a Spanish immersion Montessori close to Takoma Park. We love it!

Omg that is so far from crunchy.
