What a strange comment. Why would you say "no matter who the victims are."?
I believe this makes over
600 fellow human beings murdered in mass shootings in just 2022. The shocking and chilling part is that we are no longer shocked. Children are murdered and politicians do not give a damn because they will lose votes.
And the year isn't over yet.
Even if you are a gun owner, are you wearing it while dancing? Would your gun have stopped the mass shooter in the nightclub? I think not.
Not having a gun would have stopped that shooter.
The gun manufacturers grabbed onto a false interpretation of the Second Amendment (which includes the word "militia" for a reason) in order to sell more guns. And they convinced a majority of conservative SCOTUS justices (including Scalia) to expand the meaning of the Second Amendment to allow individuals to own and carry guns everywhere, even though that had NEVER been their right. The gun manufacturers do not care that hundreds of Americans die each year because of the misuse of their products. If they were baby product manufacturer,s they'd have been sued into bankruptcy by now.
Every one of us is vulnerable to a mass shooting every single day, and it's getting worse and worse and worse. Why do we tolerate this madness?
Go the get gas or buy some groceries or to a movie or a nightclub, and you're playing Russian Roulette with your life? Why? Guns. Get rid of all these guns, and no more mass shootings, OK?
