Paper plates and other disposable stuff as much as possible.

I'd either do restaurant or tell someone they've got to host.

Balduccis dinner for 6 is $160. Ruth Chris’s thanksgiving meal is $44 per adult. Definitely cheaper than the impossible task of having a dishwasher repaired or new install in one week.

New dishwasher not available for delivery before thanksgiving.
Kitchen has a terrible layout for more than one busy person.

You can buy a new dishwasher from Lowes or Homedepot or whatever today, but it is iffy about installation before Thanksgiving. It always looks doable on the website and then they call and say “actually, installation isn’t for 10 days but we can deliver it tomorrow.”

Strange answers. The answer is buy a new dishwasher with free installation. Go online and buy a Bosch from homedepot lowes. You will buy one at some point, right?

Wash the dishes. The only complicated part of this is having someone keep up with the prep/cooking dishes so the sink is clear. Take a break before dessert to start least rinse the dinner dishes.
