This is not a decriminalization bill I really wish people would read

How many PPs have read the bill? The commentary? Any of the documents produced by the Commission? Any of the hearings on the bill?

If and it’s a big if, republicans ever retake the White House they can start going after Unprosecuted state crimes as civil rights violations of victims Abd the public in general. Leaving criminals free to terrorize the public is a clear civil rights violation the same as states not prosecuting the kkk for its crimes against Poc Jews etc

There is no deterrent effect, these laws are outdated. Council is right about this one- plenty to squabble about but not this.

There is also apparently no punishment in the whole of the US of A that has a deterrent effect for murder. That does not mean that murders should get lighter sentences.
