This! My not rather handy husband installed ours (and ours is the kind that is hard wired in, it’s not plugged in since we’re in an older home). It’s not complicated. Watch a YouTube video.

We bought a dishwasher through Costco a few years ago and they wouldn't install because our plumbing was not up to code, so we found the appropriate fixtures at Home Depot and did it ourselves. It's so easy - you can find videos for everything on YouTube.

You can call an appliance repairman to install, but it’s typically more expensive (like $200) to install and haul away the old one. We have also used installers both from Bray & Scarff and Home Depot/Best Buy. Generally fine, but we had HD install a fridge and they didn’t replace the old water lineZ ended up with a dripping leak that caused damage; however, HD’s insurance covered repairs quickly. just a pain to have to do it!

Stay away from Costco.
I bought a washer and dryer, microwave and dishwasher a couple of weeks ago. The washer/dryer and microwave were installed without any problems. The dishwasher couldn’t be installed because a pipe needed to be moved. The installer told me to call a plumber to shift the pipe and then call him back to put the dishwasher in. He refused to haul away the old dishwasher and shoved in back in place without shutting off the valve completely. Luckily I noticed it dripping after an hour before any major damage happened.

We bought a dishwasher and refrigerator from Costco in the last few months and they installed both with no issues.

You could buy just the appliance from the store you like and have your own plumber install it.
