I worked in SV for 20 years, and saw both companies grow rapidly. IMO, FB is probably more bloated than Twitter, however, Meta is trying to branch out a lot more than Twitter is.

Just an fyi, under CA law, you have to give employees over 50 two months notice of mass layoffs. So, that 16 weeks, is actually 8. Two months of Zuck’s “generous” leave would have been required by law anyway.

Also, how is a person who is taking responsibility for his actions by firing 11,000 people - and then telling everyone how bad he feels, so we should feel sorry for HIM - a nice guy?

Zuck stole the idea for Facebook from his friends. Original purpose was to rate hotness of college girls. That says all.

Musk just bought his company. He is laying off far less people.
