I lived there. Graduate of UF.
Came from another state public schools were so bad I had no classes to take the senior year they just graduated me.
Schools suck, DeSantis is going to rob them blind and make himself G-d.
Trump wanted to be Kim Jong-un. DeSantis wants to be Victor Orbán. And he will be.

I'm in the Tampa Bay area right now and it's just sort of gently raining with a little breeze occasionally.
And it never snows here, which is awesome!
This. But OP knows that hurricanes aren't a big deal for most Floridians. Lots of people on this board are furious about people electing DeSantis, hence the attempt to shame Floridians the day after his landslide victory.

Obviously discounting people who are unable to move for financial or physical reasons. But people who are voluntarily moving to Florida - why? Please explain this to me,
Just stop. Climate change cannot be linked to any particular storm. This year has not had a lot of storms. 2 a year in Floriday is not a lot. 1901 there were 4. Can't blame that on climate change. This is a very normal/average year. Climate change not really likely to impact Florida that much in any event.
