My kid does not want to spend the night there. That's fine with me. I can understand also how this option would be welcomed by families. Great that days-only option is there.

They didn’t last year at our school - I think teachers made the assignments based on who would be good together. Probably varies by school.

My super picky kid loved the food there last year. And she got some sleep too. Not sure about the temp of the cabin - she went in spring when it was pretty mild.

Camp Letts is great, I went as a kid for YMCA camp. I think the cabins are better than what my mcps outdoor ed was back in the day.

Gotta keep that helicopter warmed up. You're also a camp counselor in the summer?

My kid did Letts just before spring break and had a great time. Shockingly said the food was good, and this is from a very picky eater. I think how kids get assigned to cabins varies by school.

In terms of chaperoning, if you are willing to sleep in the cabin with the kids, I'm sure they will let you do work during the day. There are more people who are willing to come as day chaperones than those who are willing to stay overnight. That said, our kid told us that he didn't want either of us serving as chaperones.

Child is getting ready to go camps Letts

Any recent experiences? How many kids oer cabin? How do they get assigned?

Considering chaperoning, is there time to do some work during the day? Tips/info on what that involves?

Does Letts prepare meals for students with dietary restrictions, or does the school bag food for the 2.5 days, or do you send your child with meals?
