They did say that I would need to wait about 30 minutes for them to cook the chicken, so they weren't actually "out of chicken", they just needed cook more, but I couldn't wait another 30 minutes.
I suppose they are understaffed, but this happened years ago too when I went, so just wondering if this is a common occurrence.

They can only cook and hold so much chicken at once. If 10 min before you arrived, a soccer game let out and they had a run on families buying an easy dinner, they could get wiped out.
