The entire council and executive D candidates are nothing short of incompetent, slogan spewing nimrods.
Of course, they'll be elected because that's what Takoma Park wants, but I figured that I'd give at least a modicum of push back to their domination.
I don't know what it will take to wake residents up to their incompetence (like say, half of MCPS teachers resigning, perhaps?), but apparently things have to reach rock bottom before it sinks in.

Not an Elrich fan either, but the primary was the time to take care of that, and there was no decent candidate, so were stuck with him again.
Please don't vote for Wells for Board of Education. She wants to stop CRT (which isn't taught in MCPS), and is on the Board of an anti LBGTQ+ organization. We don't need that kind of hate!

As a moderate Democrat, I plan to vote for all Democrats and no Republicans this election. Even though I really dislike the Democratic candidate for my county district (6th), the Republican didn't even bother to put details on his website about his political beliefs and I don't want to end up with some sort of Proud Boy on the county council.
I know he endorsed Glassman. Who else did he endorse?

No. It’s like a Hogan here. He can’t do much against a mostly progressive legislature. He can mitigate some harms though.
You know, like dig the fire department out of its annual $10 million hole without threatening to cut services every year.

Anonymous wrote:Can't believe a Democrat would vote for Reardon Sullivan. The only place I see all his "democrats for Sullivan" signs are on the same lawns next to a Cox for governor sign.

False. Silvestre has not received MCEA endorsement.
Rivera-Oven has received endorsements from all “progressive” groups and is way left wing, not “center left”.
