The pickup likely depends on the location. Pickup at our Whole Foods in DC is always easy.

The food is ok. Kind of like the food at a chain restaurant: nothing that will blow your mind but it works fine mostly because you didn’t have to make it yourself.

+1 on Fresh Market. We opted to add sides that we made ourselves, plus some sides that were a la carte.

Easiest pickups in our experience -- Wegmans (Fairfax) and Fresh Market (Alexandria). Madness pickups -- Whole Foods (West Springfield) and Balduccis (Alexandria)

Has anyone seen the turkey breast in brine in a bag yet? Where the whole bag goes in the oven?

I got takeout from Circa and there was a Thanksgiving takeout menu stapled to the bag. Their Easter dinner was really good.

It's a big catering company - they can probably estimate demand based on previous years. And they scale up staffing for the holidays anyway.

OP here. Thank you all! I have gone with Ridgewells for the Turkey and potatoes and placed an order at a diner in a strip mall (Ella Rae’s) for Mac n cheese and greens (going with some southern flavors for the meal too).
Looking forward to it not being my job to cook this year and eating delicious nonetheless!

I am in Southern California and looking to buy an already cooked turkey. I love doing the sides but not the stress of wondering if turkey is done, is it dry, etc.? All markets near me only sell the meals and the sides are really bad. Does anyone have any experience with Diestel’s turkeys? I read mixed reviews.
