Apply early folks.
How late is very late?

Are you proud PP? Bc I would be disappointed if my kid was that mean.
+1. Be careful. Admissions are brutal right now. Your kid may end up being a "loser" too. For folks reading these threads who have a kid in the admissions process. Do not put down these safety schools (or other schools you see as safeties). Your kid (and their friends) may end up at these safeties. No need to sound like an a**hole. Just keep opinions to yourself.

I hope you are wrong.
My kid has a 1230 SAT; weighted GPA 3.7 and I hope she gets rejected from Pitt. I think she’ll do better in a smaller school.

It's scary that some of you are raising children. I guess only some people would stop and consider that there will be readers whose kid was rejected. It would have cost you nothing to say this differently. Pitt's a good school and I know plenty of kids who were rejected (though I don't know many applying in this cycle).
Do you really? How many is plenty? I honestly don't know any. I am not the "pulse" PP.
