I really enjoyed listening to The Dutch House. I don’t think I would have liked reading the book, but Tom Hanks reads the audiobook and he made that story come alive. Again, the story wasn’t particularly compelling, but he was amazing so I still recommend it. I use the Libby app to listen to audiobooks through the library and this one is almost always available.

We are audio book twins (right down to The Dutch House dislike) except for The Storied Life, which I will now add to my library since I haven’t listened to that one!

Oh wow! We are twins - I loved My grandmother and Britt Marie. I painted a bedroom listening to Britt Marie! Every time I enter that room I think if that novel. I am going to check out murmur of bees.

And I loved the British miniseries- Broadchurch. Would love a good British crime mystery!
