I live them too as I commute to work. The problem is that they end less than hour and my house really needs a thorough going over. I end up stopping and losing steam as I try to find the next podcast I think I would like.
Anonymous wrote:I really enjoyed listening to The Dutch House. I don’t think I would have liked reading the book, but Tom Hanks reads the audiobook and he made that story come alive. Again, the story wasn’t particularly compelling, but he was amazing so I still recommend it. I use the Libby app to listen to audiobooks through the library and this one is almost always available.

A man called Ove (didn’t like the book but liked the audiobook)
A Fine Balance
Born a Crime
Where’d You Go Bernadette
Books by Liane Moriarty
The Storied Life of AJ Fikery
The only audiobook that I really couldn’t stand was The Dutch House read by Tom Hanks
We are audio book twins (right down to The Dutch House dislike) except for The Storied Life, which I will now add to my library since I haven’t listened to that one!
I also like:
My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She’s Sorry and its sequel Britt Marie Was Here
Circe
The Murmur of Bees
If you like crime mysteries, particularly those set in the UK, say so, and I’m your girl for all kinds of recommendations.
