Has anyone seen halibut at a Costco?

We can get through a box of the peaches or nectarine s before they spoil. My kids love them, and the baby watermelons.

Stoneybrook probiotic whole milk yogurt smoothies. My kids go through a pack of those a week and they are way less $$ at the costco.

Those are just random items, I also buy all sorts of other things there.

We really go for the less expensive coffee beans, paper and cleaning, milk, eggs, cheese, meat and wine.

For produce - only if you are planning on cooking and freezing dishes or feeding a large crowd. The only things that we can through in a week fresh are romaine lettuce, avocados, bananas and raspberries. The lemons do last in the fridge awhile.

I buy lemons there and have my kids juice and zest them, then freeze. I am grateful every time I’m cooking and it saves me a few steps!

We’re in MoCo but drive to Fairfax costco. It’s just 10 minutes more away with better parking, better selection. Gaithersburg is the worst in terms of parking. Arlington is smaller. Don’t like the selection in Wheaton.

We get A2 milk, eggs, bottled water, san pellegrino sparkling water, whole wheat bread, kerrygold butter, cheese (mozzarella, pecorino romano, parmesan, other soft and hard cheeses), meat (we get the prime grade, very good quality for a good price), salmon, cod, and other fish, lobster, fruits (usually tastes very good with little spoilage, we get strawberries, mango, grapes, blueberries), pipito peppers, bell peppers, all sorts of household consumables (toilet paper, kitchen towels, detergent, soap, kids waterbottles), granola bars, spices, prosciutto, baklava (huge box=$10), holiday chocolates and other seasonal items,..

We cook almost every day (lots of high quality meals) and save a ton by shopping at Costco.

I’m in Moco and head to Costco every 2 weeks or so. Gaithersburg is the most crowded. Avoided it for 3 years and went there a few weeks ago on Saturday, most crowded in my life.

Wheaton is busy but not as bad. Beltsville is the best.

Sams Club is so relaxing, no crowds even on a Saturday. I do the scan and go with phone and no line for checkout.

Best Costco stuff is Amylu chicken sausage when on sale. Grass fed beef sausages. Precooked frozen bacon. Sliced cheeses are cheap.

Crazy busy this year with school, work and kids sports. We now do Costco meals three days a week and then do leftovers on day 4, the takeout on day 5

Family favorites:
— cottage pie — about 17 bucks, 6-7 servings
— salmon — 4 servings, about 30 bucks
— chicken Alfredo, about 5 servings, about 18 bucks
—. Beef bulgogi, about four servings, about 20 bucks

All of these except for the beef need about about 30 mins or more in the oven.

Serve with some broccoli or bagged salad, with rice if needed

Kids eat lunch at school so it’s a pretty efficient and relatively affordable way of getting though the week.

Other Costco faves: the cream cheese tub. Milks. Eggs. Granola. Kind bars. Babibel cheeses. Detroit style pizzas

Pay for it all on the Costco visa and you get a nice cash check every year.

And an amazingly easy return policy.

What percent cash back do you get? I'm currently using my bank visa card which gives me 1.5% cash back on all purchases. I wonder if the Costco card would be a better deal.

I get 4% total - 2% from Exec membership, 2% from Costco citi card
I'm also in Costco every week/10 days (family of 5 with 3 teenage boys), exec memebrship pays for itself (it costs extra $60), we spend a lot there

The mayorga coffee is a great price.
We get most of our vitamins, allergy medicine, Tylenol, and I get all my wrinkle cream there (revlon, ROC, or strivectin).
Some is seasonal — their cherries are such a good price. The mangos as pretty good there.
