Franklin is also good about feedback and teaching students how to write well. The English and history teachers are particularly strong, at least in providing solid writing lessons.

Our 7th grader is struggling with all the homework. Last year our elementary had a no homework policy so that on top of COVID/virtual learning has been a big change. DC has an hour or two of homework a night and history is actually the hardest class. Grades are fine but it is a lot more work.
